Health and Safety

Safety is a core value of Soul Rebel and is an integral part of how we design, plan and undertake our operations. The objectives of our safety policy is to provide and maintain, as far as is reasonably practicable, a safe and healthy workplace for all our employees, clients, visiting artists, crews and members of the public that may be affected by our acts or undertakings.
Soul Rebel is commited to complying with all safety legislation and to continuous performance improvement. We will adhere to the guidelines set out n the Safety, Health Welfare at Work Act 2005, and the General Application Regulations (2007). We wll also comply with all CSCS requirements.
We will also use the Code of Practice for Safety at Outdoor Concerts, the Code of Practice for Safety at Indoor Concerts, the Code of Practice for Safety at Sports Grounds and the Code of Practice for Safety in Places of Public Assembly as our minimum requirements for every undertaking.
We actively seek the co-operation of all parties concerned in projects or events to help maintain the highest possible levels of safety and service.
We aim to supply safe places of work, safe systems of work, safe equipment and machinery for use at work and adequately trained staff to carry out our operations.
We ask that all organisations and individuals using Soul Rebel follow these same principles in the design and implementation of their undertakings.
This Safety Statement sets out in writing Soul Rebel's program to manage Health, Safety and Welfare and is available to all employees, clients, contractors, visiting artists, crews and the Health and Safety Authority of Ireland. It clearly states the responsibilities placed on the Director and Management Staff to manage health and safety.
It also details the responsibility of employees to co-operate with management on these issues and lists those within the organisation with specific duties in respect of workplace health and safety.
Soul Rebel undertakes to seek appropriate advice from competent Health and Safety Consultants when necessary to ensure that we fully comply with all regulations that may apply to us. This Statement will be reviewed regularily to reflect changes in legislation, technology, products, work practices, any accidents or near misses and in the light of ongoing experience.
